The 2017 Making a Difference Banquet will be held at the Central National Bank Center on Saturday, November 18th from 7:00-9:00pm and will include dinner, live auction, mystery gifts, a photo booth, and more. Child care will be provided for $5 per child, for up to two children, and additional children will be free. This banquet is held to raise funds for our programs. Making a Difference, Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides social services and outreach programs to the Enid community.
Were going to a movie night! World Harvest Church is hosting a movie night on May 12th at 7pm. Our mentors and Littles will meet at the church at 6:30 to save seats and eat. Movie will start at 7pm and we will be watching Sing! We will provide pizza for the Mentors and Littles, and there will also be a concession stand with snacks and candy. (Popcorn and water is free)

On September 30th we are taking kids out to the NOC Mackie Planetarium for a picnic and a show. We are needing caring adults to join us and help mentor these kids. We believe that it takes a village to raise children and through monthly events we can help these children live the best lives possible!
Bring the family out to have a picnic and a fishing tourney! Meet the Little's Parents and let your Little's meet your family. Bring a side dish or dessert if you'd like, we'll supply hot dogs and some drinks! There will be fishing, lawn games, and more. Join us as we take our "Littles" to the Majors vs. Woodward baseball game at the David Allen Memorial Ballpark. Join us for our third annual Christmas Banquet! Doors will open at 6:00pm. During this time, guest can enjoy live entertainment, take their picture in our photo booth and begin bidding on silent auction items. Dinner will be served at 7:00pm. Throughout the night there will be games, door prizes and a live auction. This years funds will go towards our programs and purchasing a new vehicle to transport children to our growing after school group program. Reservations are available for $20 a seat or $100 for a table of six. Guests with reserved seating will also receive a free gift made by children in our programs. On October 29, Making a Difference will be hosting a fall fest on the grass area at our office. Families will enjoy games, prizes, face painting and snacks! THIS EVENT IS FREE! Guests can wear their halloween costumes but we ask that they are appropriate. No inappropriate or gruesome/bloody costumes please, as this is a family event.
