Aranda Gulick, MCP, LPC
I love working with children and families! I Graduated from Northwestern Oklahoma State University (NWOSU) in May 2014 and was under supervision from 2014 until June 2016, and I've been fully licensed for 6 years.
Personal and Professional goals: To help families establish goals for positive change, help them identify and process emotional issues, help them identify, learn, and implement skills to assist them with being able to meet their needs in healthy ways. I want to help families cope with stress or challenging situations in their lives, help with improving relationships, self-esteem, promoting positive changes in behaviors to help improve their overall mental well-being. I have been trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and am currently under supervision to complete the training requirements.
Hobbies: bowling, swimming, watching movies,, and spending as much time with my friends and family as I can.
Why did I become a counselor?
I wanted to help others learn how to help themselves. I wanted to advocate for others and be a voice for them. I wanted to help provide families with skills and knowledge to help them make positive changes in their lives. I want others to feel happy, have strong relationships, and be productive citizens.
